SAY The Stuttering Association or the Young

The Stuttering Association for the Young is a non-profit organization that empowers young people who stutter and inspires the world to treat them with compassion and respect, so they can achieve their dreams. SAY believes that every young person who stutters has a voice that matters and it is a voice that deserves to be heard. Taro Alexander, renowned actor, director, teacher, and person who stutters, founded the organization, formerly known as Our Time, in 2001 to provide a truly unique and accepting environment for children who stutter. SAY’s innovative year-round programming began with an emphasis on the performing arts and expanded to a broad range of confidence building activities. In 2014, we created new name and identity for the organization as well as the naming and creation of an inspirational film series called MY STUTTER.

Working with John Doyle is a dream come true. I can’t imagine working with anyone else on our rebrand. John really gets it. He’s a professional in every sense of the word. He’s brilliant, and I’m not just using that word to use it. John is a true genius. He is a great listener and he gets at the heart of whatever project he’s working on. I think the reason he’s so good, and what sets him apart from others, is his deep care for his clients.
